Anthony Macri wins Pa. Speedweek 410 sprint car race at Lincoln Speedway

Defending Pa. Speedweek champion Anthony Macri of Dillsburg won his first race of this year's series Monday night, taking the checkered flag in the 410 sprint car feature at Lincoln Speedway.

Macri, who took home the $10,000 winner's share of the purse, finished second in Sunday night's feature at BAPS Speedway . He did not finish the series opener at Williams Grove last Friday, after wrecking with four laps to race .

Devon Borden of Raymond, Wa. finished second. Kody Hartlaub of East Berllin checked in third. Logan Schuchart of Hanover was fourth and Troy Wagaman, Jr. of Hanover rounded out the top five finishers/

Macri took home a $250 bonus for setting the quickest lap time (13.461 seconds) during the tine trials.

Danny Dietrich of Gettysburg, who won the first two Speedweek races, finished seventh Monday night.

Pa. Speedweek continues Tuesday with a 410 sprint car feature worth $10,000 to the winner at Grandview Speedway in Berks County.
