Arkansas woman speaks out after loved one dies from moped accident

SEARCY, Ark. – November 10 will always be the day Shannon Turner remembers losing a loved one. Her ex-husband and father to their two kids, Perry Wallingsford, was killed in a crash on Broadway Bridge in North Little Rock while driving a moped. "He just was always happy and smiling and he didn't meet a stranger," Turner said. North Little Rock police investigating fatal vehicle crash on Broadway Bridge Now, Turner is struggling to lay him to rest. She says a proper burial is what Wallingsford deserved, but the price is in the thousands. "Everybody has tried to donate as much as they can but we're still falling short," Turner said. Turner said although she's struggling with funeral arrangements, she still feels like they're her duty. "I just felt like it was my job not only as the mother of his children, but as his friend too," Turner said. "If I could tell him anything I would just tell him that I love him so much and I was so proud of him. And that I will make sure his boys know that he loved them," Turner said.
