Henry County Circuit Court

  • Joshua Chad Cox, Ridgeway, on Oct. 29: Sentenced to 30 years with 25 years suspended and $2,600 in restitution and costs for possession of a firearm while possessing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of methamphetamine accessory before the fact, and distribution of methamphetamine — second offense. Charges of possession of a sawed-off shotgun, maintaining a fortified drug house, and possession of ammunition by a felon were dismissed.
  • April Dawn Manning, Collinsville, on Oct. 29: Sentenced to six years with four years suspended and $1,638.24 in costs for possession of a firearm by a felon, and obstruction of justice.
  • Ka'Darrius Lee Ferrell, Dry Fork, on Oct. 30: Charges of second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and maliciously shoot into an occupied dwelling were dismissed.
  • Steven Robert Banks, Dry Fork, on Oct. 30: Sentenced to 10 years with nine years and six months suspended and $1,382.50 in fines and costs for destruction of property, and eluding police accessory before the fact.
  • William Bradley Clark, Ridgeway, on Oct. 30: Sentenced to three years with two years, 11 months, and three days, and $585 in costs for possession of methamphetamine.
  • Adam Shane Duggins, Martinsville, on Oct. 30: Sentenced to five years with four years, 11 months, and 23 days, and $1,011.13 in restitution and costs for grand larceny of a motor vehicle.
  • Da'Rehyon Monte Rucker, Martinsville, on Oct. 30: Sentenced to eight years with four years suspended and $1,402.31 in restitution and costs for possession of a firearm by a felon, and utter a forged check. Charges of maliciously shoot into an occupied motor vehicle accessory before the fact, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and malicious wounding were dismissed
