Arrest warrants issued after drug reports investigated in Clovis
CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – A drug task operation in Clovis has led to the issuing of two arrest warrants.
The Clovis Police Department said they were receiving reports of drug activity in the area of the 2100 block of Belair Road. A search warrant was obtained to investigate the tips on November 1.
Authorities said they detained three people while conducting the operation. They were identified as Ignacio Gallegos, 44, Amber Martinez, 33, and a 34-year-old.

Officials reported finding about one ounce of heroin, 14 grams of methamphetamine, various pills, and multiple firearms.
Although three people were detained at the time, only two are currently facing charges. Gallegos will be charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking meth, felon possessing a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance. Martinez has a warrant for distributing a controlled substance.
