Lakeside Wednesday Concerts, held every Wednesday through August 27 at Hillside Park, 6 p.m. to dusk, rain or shine. Features live music, food, canoeing and visual artists. Actors Circle presents: “A Private War,” July 24, 25, 26 and 27 at Providence Playhouse, 1256 Providence Rd., Scranton. The Wyoming Seminary Performing Arts Institute presents an original composition for orchestra and saxophone, July 26 in the Great Hall of Wyoming Seminary, 7:30 p.m. World-renowned jazz saxophonist Dave Bixler will conduct the PAI Symphony Orchestra in the performance of his music.
