Ash Pollard was all smiles on Friday when she stepped out in Melbourne for a night at the theatre. The former My Kitchen Rules star, 38, was among the famous faces who turned out to Melbourne's Regent Theatre for the opening night of Sister Act. Despite recently going on an epic social media rant about being fired by her own cleaner, Ash appeared unfazed, beaming broadly as she posed for photographers. The reality star cut a stylish figure in a red floral print dress, which she styled with with a pair of brown leather sandals with a bow embellishment at the toe. She finished her outfit with a dark blue denim jacket and accessorised with a black leather handbag. Ash's trademark curly blonde tresses framed her face and she added to her features with a slight of matte pink lipstick. Also in attendance was podcaster and comedian Em Rusciano and her daughter Marchella, 21. Em, 45, turned heads in an eye-catching dark blue Leo Lin sleeveless maxi dress which she teamed with a pair of glittering silver beaded sandals. Meanwhile, Marchella looked effortlessly chic in a black Nicola Finetti dress which she wore with a pair of strappy heels. Patti Newton, the wife of late television icon Bert Newton, was also in attendance and was all smiles as she struck a pose at the photo wall. Patti, 79, wore a plain black blouse and matching pants, with a pair of black suede boots. She added a pop of colour to her ensemble with a shimmering gold jacket and an animal print scarf. Patti also added a sweet tribute to her late husband, wearing a gold necklace bearing the name 'Bert'. Olivia Newton John's niece Tottie Goldsmith also stepped out, with her recently revealed flame Tim Olsen on her arm. Tottie beamed as she showed off a stunning leggy dress with a bow embellishment around the waist while cosying up to Tim. New Big Brother host Mel Tracina also stunned in a green floral top and skirt set that she matched with a patent leather handbag and a pair of chunky white heels. Ash's appearance at the theatre show comes just weeks after she revealed she had been fired by her own cleaner in an impassioned social media post. Last month, she took to Instagram to share an extraordinary ten-minute rant detailing the ordeal. She raged about how she can't find a cleaner with 'the same standards' as her own as she explained how she was fired by her own cleaner. 'Is it possible to be fired by your own employee? Because I just was. My cleaner fired me as their client. Do you wanna know why? I'll tell you,' she began. 'My cleaner said my expectations were too high for their service for which they had been providing for the last two years.' The radio and TV personality, who rose to prominence on the 2015 season of MKR, filmed herself pottering around her kitchen in Melbourne as she told the story. Ash said her cleaner, whom she paid 'the big bucks' to clean the Melbourne home where she lives with her partner and two young children, had failed to clean her shower well enough to prevent mould. The cleaner apologised in a text message sent to Ash and said they would take full responsibility, before then deciding they'd actually had enough. 'Your standards are obviously too high for our service,' they wrote. 'Good luck in the future.' 'Do you know the funny thing? This is the second time this is happened to me,' she revealed. 'Because I just keep thinking it's them. Maybe it's me,' Ash continued. 'Nah, it's not f**cking me. What is wrong with people these days? People have low standards or they're not willing to put the f**cking work in.'
