Authorities looking for burglar using Wi-Fi jammer in Vermilion Parish
VERMILION PARISH, La. () — Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a man posing as a cable installer who tried to break into a home in Vermilion Parish.
The Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office said a man (pictured below) in a white SUV tried to break into a home on Red Rose Lane near La. 338 on Tuesday. Officials said he was posing as a cable or security camera installer, and used a possible Wi-Fi jamming device while attempting to pick the lock on the front door.
