HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - After an afternoon that brought us abundant sunshine, south winds and 70 degree weather, conditions will shift back to a more recognizable November feel. The Dense Fog Advisory has been expanded to include the Lexington and Tri-Cities areas. Travel may be slow with visibility potentially dropping to 1/4 mile or less in the Advisory area. Includes Lexington and the Tri-Cities area. Visibility could go down to 1/4 mile or less.. (ksnb) Wednesday, a cold front will swipe across the region bringing a more seasonal feel to our weather. Gusty winds 35 to 40 mph behind the front in the afternoon will make it feel coole,r even through afternoon highs will be in the mid 50s to lower 60s in the southeast corner of the state.....still above normal for this time of year. A few sprinkles may be possible especially from the Lexington to Ord areas. (ksnb) The coolest temperatures of the period will occur Thursday into Friday, though the winds will be lighter. Low Temperatures Thursday and Friday morning are expected to be below freezing with afternoon highs seasonally cool in the mid 50s. Sunday into next Tuesday, we will turn the corner back to warmer weather with a return to highs in the 60s. No precipitation is forecast for the next seven days. (KSNB)
