Bangor’s Festival of Lights returns Dec. 7
The annual Festival of Lights parade will return to downtown Bangor next month.
The holiday parade will happen at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, according to The Rotary Club of Bangor, which said this year's theme is "The Magic of Rotary."
The parade will feature marching bands, floats, dancers and other performers. After the parade, the holiday tree will be lighted in West Market Square.
"We couldn't be more excited to share the magic of the holidays with our community through the Festival of Lights Parade," parade chair Roland Narofsky said in a Monday statement. "Our Rotary Club works tirelessly to create a truly memorable experience that brings people together and celebrates the hope and joy of the season. From the sparkling floats to the lively performers, there's something for everyone to enjoy. So, bring your loved ones, young and old, and join us for an unforgettable night of festive cheer in downtown Bangor."
