SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A Battlefield man who pleaded guilty to sodomy involving an 8-year-old girl was sentenced this week to 8 years in prison.
Battlefield man charged with sodomy pleads guilty
Andrew Thomas Lachance, 28, was sentenced Monday in Greene County Circuit Court.
According to online court documents, LaChance was charged in February 2024.
A probable cause statement from the Battlefield Police Department (BPD) says LaChance rubbed the genitals of an eight-year-old girl. He told the victim's mother "he made a big mistake" when confronted about the abuse, according to documents.
