Bears vs Patriots Injury Report: Kyler Gordon returns, both starting tackles out
M.Wright1 hr ago
The Chicago Bears and New England Patriots play on Sunday at Noon (CT), and each team has revealed its injury report for the game. The Bears will be without a few starters, as right tackle Darnell Wright (knee), left tackle Braxton Jones (knee), and safety Jaquan Brisker (concussion) have been ruled out, as well as defensive tackle Andrew Billings, who recently went on injured reserve. Also out for the Bears will be reserve offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie (calf). Chicago lists three as questionable: offensive lineman Ryan Bates (shoulder), defensive end Darrell Taylor (knee), and linebacker Noah Sewell (knee). Taylor did not practice today after being limited the first two days, and Sewell was limited after being held out yesterday. Considering that Bates was a full participant all week, the Bears will likely activate him from the injured reserve, and he will see his first action in the Navy and Orange. My guess is he starts at right guard with Matt Pryor kicking out to right tackle. But there was also good news as nickelback Kyler Gordon, defensive end Montez Sweat, corner Terell Smith, and left guard Teven Jenkins are all off the injury report. New England is slacking with their report, so once they drop it, we'll share it here.
