Bears vs. Vikings line, odds and predictions: Our experts like Minnesota to beat Chicago
The playoff push continues for the Minnesota Vikings when they host their division rival Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. The Bears are slight underdogs and have lost four straight games to the Vikings.
Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday at US Bank Stadium. The game will be televised on ABC and ESPN.
The Vikings’ five-game winning streak ended heartbreakingly against the Broncos in Week 11. Russell Wilson led a game-winning drive in the final minutes. Joshua Dobbs continued his solid play but had difficulty holding onto the ball. He threw his first interception as a member of the Vikings and fumbled the ball three times, losing one. Dobbs has been productive on the ground, scoring a rushing touchdown in his fifth straight game. He awaits the return of Justin Jefferson , who is expected to be activated from the IR after Minnesota’s Week 13 bye.
Justin Fields and Khalil Herbert returned for the Bears in Week 11, but that wasn’t enough to pull off the upset victory over the Lions . Fields had a mediocre day through the air, throwing just 169 yards and one touchdown, but rushed for more than 100 yards for the first time this season, the fifth time in his career. The Vikings have been strong versus the run, only allowing 94 yards per game and seven total rushing touchdowns on the year. For the Bears to win this game, Fields will likely have to rely less on his legs and hope to get the passing game looking more like Weeks 4 and 5, where Fields threw for 617 yards and eight touchdowns.
