The Exeter Eagle Express Train keeps thundering down the tracks.

For the sixth straight week, the Eagles dominated their opponent, scoring a 43-6 Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 football win over Ephrata on Friday night.

The Eagles (6-0, 3-0) have outscored their opponents 266-26 this season, with their closest game coming in a 34-13 win over Gov. Mifflin on Sept. 13.

Against Ephrata (3-3, 1-2), the Eagles broke the game open in the middle quarters after leading 7-6 at the end of the first quarter.

Carter Redding scored two second-quarter touchdowns and the Eagles led 21-6 at halftime.

Redding's first score was on a 6-yard run and then he caught a 39-yard pass from Riley Martinez to make it 21-6 with 6:13 left in the second quarter.

Jayden Zandier scored on runs of 34 and 20 yards in the third quarter and Tyler Flanders' 13-yard TD catch from Martinez made it 43-6 after three quarters.

Zandier finished with 149 yards on 13 carries, and Martinez completed 6 of 10 passes for 103 yards, throwing three touchdowns.

Twin Valley 42, Northern Lebanon 0

Twin Valley is another Berks team just steamrolling opponents through the first six weeks of the season.

The Raiders (6-0, 3-0 LL Section 4) rolled over Northern Lebanon on Friday night 42-0, with Evan Johnson scoring three downs and Evan Myers getting two scores.

Johnson scored on runs of 3 and 47 yards for the game's first two scores and Myers made it 21-0 on a 27-yard TD run.

Johnson's 6-yard TD run made it 28-0 at halftime.

Chase Reilly scored on a six-yard run in the third quarter and Myers finished it off with an eight-yard run in the fourth quarter.

The Raiders, ranked No. 1 in the state in Class 4A, have outscored opponents 293-40.

Johnson finished with 176 yards on 14 carries, and Myers had 142 yards rushing on 17 carries, as the Raiders rushed for 348 yards while giving up just 4 yards rushing to Northern Lebanon (2-4, 1-2).

Cedar Crest 42, Reading High 20

Jackson Custer threw two touchdown passes and ran for another as Cedar Crest defeated Reading High, 42-20, in a Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1 game on Friday night.

Cedar Crest is 4-2, 2-1, and Reading High is 1-5, 0-3.

For the Red Knights, Gabe Laws scored twice on 3-yard runs and Jared Santos caught a 56-yard touchdown pass from Kayson Fritz.

Elizabethtown 38, Muhlenberg 36

Brady Moran scored on a seven-yard run late in the game to give Elizabethtown a 38-36 LL Section 2 win over Muhlenberg on Friday night.

Muhlenberg (3-3, 1-2) took a 36-32 lead minutes before on a Cameron Small 1-yard run.

Small gained 257 yards rushing in the game on 22 carries and scored four touchdowns. His other scores were on runs of 1, 56 and 11 yards.

Elizabethtown is 1-5, 1-1.

Wyomissing 49, Donegal 0

Fourteen different players carried the ball for Wyomissing as the Spartans rolled to a 49-0 LL Section 4 win over Donegal on Friday night.

The Spartans are 5-1, 3-0. Donegal is 1-5, 0-3.

Chase Eisenhower scored both times he carried the ball, rushing for touchdowns of 1 and 18 yards.

Justice Hardy also scored twice, scoring on a 16-yard run and an 80-yard kickoff return to start the second half.

Aiden Sierra (6 yards), Daniel Delp (27 yards) and Jossian Lopez-Sanchez (7 yards) also scored for the Spartans.

Elco 19, Daniel Boone 14

Steven Rosado scored twice on one-yard runs as Elco defeated Daniel Boone 19-14 in a LL Section 4 game on Friday night.

Daniel Boone is 0-6, 0-3. Elco is 2-4, 1-2.

For the Blazers, Haydn Moyer scored on a 9-yard run and threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Jayden Salata with one second left in the game.

Moyer completed 12 of 16 passes for 144 yards, and he rushed for a team-leading 85 yards on 14 carries.

Hamburg 28, Lancaster Catholic 13

Tyler Shuey ran for two touchdowns and passed for one to lead Hamburg to a 28-13 LL Section 5 win over Lancaster Catholic on Friday night.

Hamburg is 5-1, 3-0 LL Section 5. Lancaster Catholic is 3-3, 2-1.

The Hawks led 14-0 after the first quarter as Shuey hit Ty Werley with a 21-yard scoring pass and then ran for a 1-yard touchdown.

Lancaster Catholic pulled to within a point at 14-13 in the third quarter, but Shuey's two-yard scoring run made it 21-13 with 9:33 left in the game.

Blaise Ernst's 2-yard touchdown run with 2:09 left sealed the Hawks' win.

Ernst gained 140 yards on 24 carries.

Annville-Cleona 35, Kutztown 28

Jonathan Shay rushed for 146 yards and Bryce Keller threw two touchdowns as Annville-Cleona defeated Kutztown 35-28 on Friday night in a LL Section 5 game.

For the Cougars (0-6, 0-3), Mason Sherry scored on a 50-yard run in the fourth quarter to make the score 29-28.

For Kutztown, Ian Bahr (4 yards), Colten Mathias (10 yards) and Brenden Ackley (10 yards) ran for touchdowns.

Annville-Cleona is 3-3, 2-1.
