Best managed award for Sligo company LotusWorks

The Ireland's Best Managed Companies Awards programme, which is now in its 16th year, is led by Deloitte in association with AIB.

The Platinum Club designation is awarded to companies that have maintained their Best Managed Company status for seven consecutive years, and LotusWorks achieved this milestone last night.

The programme is the only awards scheme on the island of Ireland that considers business performance from every perspective by evaluating the calibre of management abilities and practices in addition to the strategy, capability, innovation, culture and financial performance of companies.

LotusWorks, the specialist technical and engineering company with operations in Ireland, EMEA and North America, was previously designated a Gold winner but joins the elite Platinum Club as it has now been awarded seven years in a row as a Best Managed Company.

Successful new entrants to the programme are awarded as New Winners, companies that have maintained their Best Managed Company status for four consecutive years achieve Gold Standard and those that receive the award for seven years in a row – like LotusWorks – join the Platinum Club.

Established in 1989, LotusWorks is one of Ireland's largest and longest-established technical and engineering companies and now has over 650 full-time staff.

The company specialises in managing and owning scopes of work within global manufacturing facilities. Its client list includes many world-leading companies in ICT, Life Science, medical device and advanced technology.
