WARREN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Betty L. Cook, 101 of Warren, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Shepherd of the Valley in Liberty.

She was born September 19, 1923, in Gebharts, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Edward Berkey and the late Hazel Pyle Berkey.

Betty was a loving wife and mother as well as a strong woman of faith. She was a member of North Park Baptist Church and a Bible school volunteer.

Betty also volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital with her daughter, Patty.

Betty and her husband Paul were members of the Lapidary Club.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Ann Hayne, Edward (Nilda) Cook, Eric Cook, Susan Sinea and Sandra Amrein, all of Warren, Ohio; grandchildren, Paul (Deanna), Vicky (Michael), Michelle (fiancé, James Garner, Jr.), Jonathan, Joe and Jacob (Maddie) and great-grandchild, Bryce.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Cook; sons-in-law, Carl Hayne, David Sinea and Ken Amrein and siblings, Shirley Readnower, Robert Berkey, Elaine Stevanus and Edward Berkey.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home , where Rev. James F. Baer will officiate. Friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to services.

Interment will be in Meadow Brook Memorial Park, Warren, Ohio.
