CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A busy weekend in downtown Cleveland with legendary music artists and Guardians on tap.

Thousands made their way into the city's downtown to see legendary musicians Billy Joel and Rod Stewart together in concert at the Huntington Bank Stadium.

Others enjoyed rapper, singer and song writer Nicki Minaj at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

Plus, the Guardians faced off against the Tampa Bay Rays.

But despite the city issuing parking restrictions and road closures, everyone made it through the temporary traffic back ups and the search for parking.

One Canton man said seeing two legends like Billy Joel and Rod Stewart was a treat, "Talking about a legend, two legends. I'm very excited to see them."

One family even traveled the distance to see Billy Joel in concert, "We came all the way to Cleveland from Rhode Island so we could see Billy Joel."
