Six-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick 's ex-girlfriend, Linda Holliday , appeared to take a jab at him with her Halloween costume.

Holliday dressed up in the yellow tracksuit worn by Uma Thurman's character 'The Bride' in the film Kill Bill while attending a costume party on Saturday (October 26), DraftKings' Jessie Coffield reported during a segment of GoJo and Golic alongside father and son co-hosts Mike Golic Jr. and Mike Golic Sr.

"This is not a subtle costume at all," the elder Golic said.

"Subtle as a sledgehammer," his son added.

Holliday, who dated Belichick for more than a decade, issued a statement to apparent backlash over the costume on her Instagram story.

"Can everyone please stop being offended by absolutely EVERYTHING? Ya'll would have never survived in the Eddie MurphyAndrew Dice Clay, etc etc days...shoot you wouldn't survive the late night talk shows like Jay LenoDavid Letterman. For the love of God, laugh a little. Lighten up. Everything isn't an attack......," Holliday wrote.

In August, the Daily Mail reported that Holliday was still living in Belichick's Nantucket home amid his relationship with 23-year-old cheerleader Jordon Hudson, according to the Daily Mail . Holiday reportedly moved into Belichick's newly-purchased $4.8 million house more than a year after their relationship ended after 16 years.

Sources close to the former couple told the Daily Mail that Holliday doesn't plan on leaving Nantucket and was recently spotted walking , the dog she shares with Belichick, in the neighborhood. Belichick is the third-winningest coach in NFL history and one of seven NFL head coaches to have spent more than 20 years with one franchise following George Halas (40) of the Chicago Bears, Curly Lambeau (29) of the Green Bay Packers, Tom Landry (29) of the Dallas Cowboys, Don Shula (26) of the Miami Dolphins, Steven Owen (24) of the New York Giants and Chuck Noll of the Pittsburgh Steelers, all of whom have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
