Billie Morton Obituary (1929

Heaven has gained a special angel. I ́m sure she is singing a good hymn and loving on Robert and Kathy. There will ever be a spot in our hearts of Nannie Billie even if we were only related in Christian love. She was one of the best Christians I know. We prayed on the phone for each other and others almost weekly and I will miss that so much. Love to John and Deb, Mary Lou and Jimmy and all the grands and great grands. We will always love you. Mrs Morton was my instructor at GTI. 1973-74. We all loved her the best instructor ever. So sweet n kind. She encourage us all especially when we felt like we weren't getting it. She made learning fun. The other instructors were great too but I just connected with her the most. Prayers love n hugs for her family n a her friends

To my distant cousins, we just heard about Billie Lou ́s passing Saturday evening, and are rejoicing to know one of the sweetest ladies that ever walked has gone to heaven! Every summer I pull out the recipe she shared for freezing corn and feel so lucky I have it! One of the special things from her I will always cherish and be happy to share! She sure could cook.
