Billy Liucci addresses smoke connecting Ryan Day to Texas A&M job

Regardless of the current situation at Texas A&M, it has to be an attractive job for head coaches out there. Between being in the SEC and having quite the financial backing, it’s easy to see how success can be accomplished in College Station. After firing Jimbo Fisher, there have been some big names linked to the job.

Recently, a name has been Ohio State head coach Ryan Day. Thought of as one of the best in college football, Day would be a massive hire for Texas A&M. However, Billy Liucci of TexAgs is “skeptical” of the two every coming together.

“There is Ryan Day smoke but I’m very skeptical of the Ryan Day smoke,” Liucci said . “I’m skeptical that that’s not an agent drumming up stuff. I will continue to include Ryan Day as a candidate. That’s not who I would expect them to land.”
