‘Birmingham Employs Neurodiversity’ career and internship expo to be held Nov. 19

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT) — Birmingham's Spring Valley School will host the "Birmingham Employs Neurodiversity" career and internship expo on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Regions Field.

This free event aims to promote inclusive work environments and provide neurodiverse learners between the ages of 16 to 22 with connections to career opportunities.

During the event, students will hear a presentation on the topic of "Finding Success Through Advocacy." This will be followed by an expo allowing students to explore various career paths. Participants will also have the chance to apply for spring/ summer semester internships. The event will last from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
