Bloomie's Set To Open First NJ Location At The Grove In Shrewsbury The new store, which is a smaller version of Bloomingdale's, will be the first of its kind to carry an all-women's assortment of products.SHREWSBURY, NJ — Bloomingdale's is set to open their fourth Bloomie's location and first store in New Jersey at The Grove Shopping Center on Nov. 14.
The store will be the first of its kind to carry an all-women's assortment of products, and plans include a curated collection of "contemporary ready-to-wear" clothes, complimentary accessories, beauty products, jewelry, and more.
News of Bloomie's joining The Grove first came in May 2024. The new store location will be situated where J. Jill used to be in the shopping center.
"This Shrewsbury Bloomie's is a milestone for us, it strengthens our presence in the local NJ area and marks our first women's-only location," Rachel Abeles, the senior vice president of customer and revenue growth said. "We're excited to bring this curated collection of brands and categories to complement our existing fleet within the New Jersey community, making access easier and more tailored than ever before."
At the new Bloomie's location, guests can expect to discover trends and products from brands such as Mother, Veronica Beard, Rag & Bone, Chanel Beauty and more.
The store will offer services such as styling, easy returns, pickups, alterations and gift-wrapping for customers. In addition, guests will be able to purchase a grab-and-go at Forty Carrots, which will offer frozen yogurt, salads, sandwiches and more.
"Bloomie's is a perfect example of how our brand continues to evolve with our shoppers' needs and preferences," Abeles said.
To celebrate the store's grand opening, Bloomie's will be hosting a series of events and activations to introduce the store to the Shrewsbury community.
On the day of Bloomie's opening (Nov. 14), the store will host "Bloomie's Winter Village," after a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event will feature branded activations, fashion, exclusive gifts and more for guests.
On Dec. 7, guests can stop in to Bloomie's for "Bloomie's Holiday Bash." The event will host a private sip-and-shop before opening with brunch bites, music, giveaways and gifting. The event will continue throughout the day and offer a meet-and-greet with Santa, holiday treat carts, music, brand activations and customization opportunities.
At Bloomie's new location, the store hopes to "enhance the shopping journey with an emphasis on the latest in women's fashion" featuring curated styles across all categories.
As a division of Macy's, Bloomingdale's is America's only nationwide, full-line, upscale department store. The brand currently operates 32 Bloomingdale's stores, 21 Bloomingdale's The Outlet stores, and four Bloomie's in various locations.
