Nov. 19—ARREST A Buffalo man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 12:15 p.m. Thursday. The 31-year-old man was charged with petit larceny. He is accused of taking more than $39 worth of merchandise without paying for the items. A Falls man was arrested after an incident in the 8500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 4:43 p.m. Saturday. The 35-year-old man was charged with disorderly conduct. He is accused of creating a disturbance by yelling and swearing at customers leaving a nearby business. A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 8400 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 9:57 a.m. Monday. The 37-year-old woman was charged with petit larceny. She is accused of taking more than $171 worth of liquor without paying for the merchandise. Police are investigating a case of fraud on the 5700 block of South Transit Road in the Town of Lockport. The male victim told a Niagara County Sheriff's deputy that he noticed two unauthorized transactions on his debit card at 11:48 a.m., Nov. 11. The total amount charged is $254 and a report was filed. Police are investigating a case of fraud reported by a Town of Wilson resident. The victim told a Niagara County Sheriff's deputy Wednesday that her bank card showed $1,020 in fraudulent charges. A report was filed. PUBLIC ASSIST Police advised two neighbors to stay away from each other's property on Karen Avenue in Newfane on Nov. 12. One neighbor placed a note, threatening to throw bags of leaves on the other neighbor's property. The recipient was concerned and asked to file a report. No criminal charges were made.
