Bowen signs letter of intent to Nebraska

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Senior gymnast Hailee Bowen from Harrisburg has signed her letter of intent to join the Nebraska gymnastics squad. Bowen says she knew she wanted to be a Cornhusker since she began gymnastics. She also says that signing early sets up a smoother senior season with the Tigers. "It takes a lot of pressure off for the season and I just really can just have fun during the season instead of trying to still get recruited. And I just know where I'm going," Bowen said. Kim Ye-ji, who won a silver medal in the women's 10-meter air pistol event at the Paris Olympics on Sept. 28, is taking a break from professional shooting.
