Bridge collapses over railway track in occupied Crimea, there are casualties – photo, video

A road bridge built over railway tracks collapsed in the Dzhankoi district of temporarily occupied Crimea on the evening of 13 November.

Details: Telegram channels claim that a truck and a car were on the bridge between the villages of Izumrudne and Maslove when it collapsed. Rescue workers assisted two people.

The CHP Severnyi Krym (Emergency Northern Crimea) Telegram channel cited eyewitness accounts indicating that the bridge could not withstand the truck's weight.

Road services have organised a detour around the emergency section.

A judge recused himself Tuesday from presiding over Arizona's fake electors case after an email surfaced in which he told fellow judges to speak out against attacks on Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign for the presidency. In the Aug. 29 email, Maricopa County Judge Bruce Cohen lamented that he didn't speak out when Harris was called a "DEI hire," believes that white men must speak out against unfair treatment of women, and raised a historical lesson from the Holocaust about the need to speak up when people are attacked. It's shocking video of an elderly man being throw to the ground and handcuffed during a traffic stop. Video of the exchange between the officer and driver involved in the traffic sop was released by police. Chanel Maya Banks, an actor whose family said she went missing for two weeks, has been found safe in Texas, police said. Family members of the 36-year-old, who appeared on "Gossip Girl" and "Blue Bloods," said they had not heard from her since Oct. 30. On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Police Department said Banks has been found safe, and no foul play is suspected.
