Wedding planning is known to be a stress-filled time and can often put strain on couple's relationships ahead of the big day.

But Brittany Hockley has revealed her secret to stress-free wedding planning and how she has managed to avoid fighting with her fiancé Benjamin Siegrest over it.

The Bachelor star, 37, is currently in the midst of planning her Bali destination wedding to Swiss footballer Benjamin after they got engaged in June of this year.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, Brittany confessed it has not been any easy task while coordinating with her family in Australia and his in Switzerland on two different time zones.

However, the podcaster said her secret to keeping everything smooth-sailing has been hiring a whiz wedding planner to take on the brunt of the organising on her behalf.

'Wedding planning is going well, purely because I have a wedding planner otherwise it would be going down the gurgler,' she shared at Marie Claire's Women of the Year Awards on Wednesday.

'It's really hard though because we're working on so many different time zones - Ben lives over in Europe and I'm obviously here, but it's going.'

She also credited goalkeeper Benjamin's laidback attitude for preventing any rows over wedding planning, saying he is letting her take charge on their special day.

'To be honest, Ben is the easiest person that I've ever met, he's pretty much said ''you tell me what I need to do, if I need to do anything, at the end of the day, I want you to be happy'',' she gushed.

'He's just been brilliant and I just think he knows me well enough that he doesn't want to tread on my toes.

'It's my day in his eyes, and he's like ''as long as I get to marry you at the end, that's all I want''.'

Brittany and Benjamin have already set a date for their wedding, but are keeping it a closely-guarded secret, only hinting that it will be at some point next year.

Brittany recently revealed she is was currently in the process of learning to speak German so she can surprise her European fiancé on their special day.

'Ben's family are going to be doing speeches in German. It's a very multicultural wedding,' she told Daily Mail Australia at the ACRA Awards.

She also hilariously told how Ben's European family experienced a hilarious misunderstanding about their invite due to her strict Aussie dress code rule.

'There was no thongs footwear invite confusion! I was mortified to think that half of his family thought I meant G-strings,' she quipped.

Most Aussies refer to flip-flops as thongs, which are not often allowed to be worn at weddings.

Brittany revealed Benjamin had popped the question in June of this year, sharing an adorable post to Instagram confirming their engagement.

She shared an array of heartwarming photographs showing herself flashing her diamond ring after Benjamin got down on one knee on a deserted beach.

In her caption, Brittany expressed her love as she gushed: 'In any lifetime it's a YES! Just two people loving each other for the rest of our lives.'

The couple met in November 2022 on the celebrity dating app Raya when Benjamin's team, the Glasgow-based Celtic FC, were playing in Australia against Sydney FC.

They went Instagram official in January 2023 and have since been splitting their time between Australia and Scotland, where Benjamin currently lives.
