An interesting stat was shared by Mike Klis of 9News on Friday that should make for an interesting topic to discuss on this fine Saturday morning. Since 2020, the Denver Broncos rank fourth in the league in holding teams to less than 20 points in a game. Yet, they are abysmal at winning games in comparison to the teams ahead of them on that list.

Here is a breakdown of their record for each year along the way when holding teams under 20 points.

It looks like only Vance Joseph and Vic Fangio had an offense that could help the defense to winning record in these situations. Fangio's defenses were 9-5 in two seasons and Joseph's is currently at 5-3. Nathaniel Hackett had plenty of winnable games in 2022, but we all know how that season turned out.

Joseph previews Denver's challenge vs. Tampa Bay's receivers On this episode of "Broncos in 60," Defensive Coordinator Vance Joseph discusses the Broncos' challenge vs. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and he speaks about his cornerback unit needing to be aggressive in coverage.

Pat Surtain II embraces the opportunity to cover the league's top receivers Defensive Coordinator Vance Joseph has encouraged the two-time Pro Bowler to "keep being aggressive" and "find the football."

With help from others - and some added muscle - Jonah Elliss is ready for a big step up Rookie Jonah Elliss could be needed in a big way by the Broncos defense if Baron Browning's foot injury lingers.
