Broncos vs. Bucs injury report: Thursday

L.Thompson31 min ago
The Denver Broncos will be working without their starting five in place along the offensive line. Mike McGlinchey is headed for short-term injured reserve, while second-year pro Alex Palczewski will be getting the start vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers .

Head Coach Sean Payton noted that Palczewski is a guy that's been competing and they'll adjust their protection to ensure the young player isn't exploited by the Bucs defense on Sunday.

"It's part of our league," Payton said. "Certainly Mike is a veteran. 'Palcho' is one of those guys that he's been competing. We'll be smart relative to what we're doing protection wise, but he's played in a lot of football games. I know he'll be excited about his first start."

Some good news on the injury front as most everyone on Denver's list is progressing forward with the exception of edge rusher Baron Browning and safety JL Skinner. The Broncos made multiple moves at edge this week , so I would think its safe to assume Browning is going to be missing some time.
