Broncos vs. Falcons score predictions

M.Wright30 min ago
Since the opening odds released showing the Denver Broncos were slight home underdogs to the Atlanta Falcons, the line has shifted favorable towards Denver. They are now home favorites. This is a critical game for both teams who are in the thick of their respective conference playoff positioning, but it is clear that the 5-5 Broncos need this win more than the 6-4 Falcons.

Collectively, our Mile High Report staff is predicting a Broncos 28-15 home win over the Falcons in Week 11. While the staff does seem to be fairly confident the Broncos will manhandle the Falcons, not all of us think it'll be a two-score victory on Sunday. Here is where we each landed individually:

Broncos 27, Falcons 23 In a game of matchups, I like how the Broncos offense matches up to the Falcons defense. I think they should be able to score some points this week. The Broncos defense also matches up well against Kirk Cousins and the Falcons offense. Overall, with this game being at home, I just don't see how the Broncos can afford to lose this game and remain a serious playoff contender. - Tim Lynch

Broncos 31, Falcons 10 The Broncos have had a lot of success this year against the NFC South. That trend should continue against the Falcons. After a tough loss to the Chiefs, the takeaway should be that Denver is a good football team. That might seem silly to say, but the fact that most experts picked them to be at the bottom of the division shows what little faith people had in what Sean Payton is building. The offense will bounce back against a lesser opponent and Kirk Cousins will become very well acquainted with the ground. - Adam Malnati

Broncos 27, Falcons 17 This is a must-win matchup for the Broncos who can't afford a three-game losing streak. Their playoff hopes depends on it. The Falcons are a tough opponent, but Sean Payton has done a great job against his former division and has a shot at making it a perfect 4-0 mark in his NFC South Revenge Tour on Sunday. I'm confident that Denver will get back on track and deliver a sound victory. - Chris Hart

Broncos 31, Falcons 13 Does Denver sweep a division for the first time since 2015? Yes! The team is getting healthier, and they should have won against the Chiefs. Some fire in their bellies, continuing development from rookies and sacks to go around and Denver scores an easy win. - John Holmes

Broncos 24, Falcons 16 It's time for the Broncos to secure a win against a team with a winning record. This game is not just an opportunity to claim victory, but a critical moment for the Broncos to make their final push toward a winning season in 2024. The recent loss to the Chiefs, despite the defeat, revealed that the Broncos can hold their own against top contenders. I'm confident the Broncos will clinch this one on Sunday. - Ivan Talavera

Broncos 31, Falcons 17 The way Denver played against the defending Super Bowl champs still has me impressed. How Nix matched Mahomes and put the Broncos in a position to win was damn impressive. Despite the gut-punching loss, Denver will build on that and be motivated to win at home. And I haven't mentioned the Broncos defense, which will once again show up and show out. - Ian St. Clair

Broncos 27, Falcons 10 The Broncos are going have a fire lit under them going into this game after a tough loss last week. The defense is going to be all over the Falcons who have trouble with the constant pass rush from any and all directions. The offense is going to find it's legs behind Audric Estime who runs for over 100 yards which leads to some impressive play action passes deep from Bo Nix. - Sadaraine
