Brookfield 2024 Election Results: Polls Close, Votes Being Counted The polls have closed in Brookfield for the 2024 elections, and here are the latest updates on how local residents voted.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The polls have closed in Brookfield, and now we wait for the results to come in through the night and likely into Wednesday morning for several key races.

All eyes, of course, are on the presidential race between main party candidates Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald J. Trump.

Beyond the presidential race, U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-CT, is seeking re-election to a new six-year term and is being challenged by Matthew M. Corey, Justin C. Paglino, and Robert Finley Hyde.

Residents also voted for their local representative in the U.S. Congress, and their local state representative and senators in the General Assembly in Hartford.

Tuesday night's vote totals will also determine whether Connecticut will allow each person to vote by absentee ballot in future elections.

We'll have live updates throughout the night. Check back for updates. You can follow along for live election results, and sign up for free Patch news alerts and daily newsletters .
