The Cleveland Browns have had multiple players nominated to be the NFLPA Community MVP in the past, and linebacker Jordan Hicks is the newest member to join the "club".

He hosted his foundation's second "True Strength Night" at Lakota West High School, his alma mater from which he graduated in 2010.

The event celebrated and empowered special needs students during a football game on September 14th. It's reported that over 2,500 members of the community attended the game to support students with cognitive and physical disabilities.

Hicks and the rest of the community managed to raise a considerable amount of money for LWHS's special education department throughout the night as well.

It was announced earlier today that Hicks had been named this week's MVP:

In recognition of Hicks being named this week's MVP, the NFLPA will donate $10,000.00 to his foundation or charity of his choice. Hicks is now also eligible for the Alan Page Community Award, which is the NFLPA's highest player honor and includes an additional $100,000.00 donation.
