I said ahead of time that he will sling it and it'll lead to a lot of interceptions at times. It should have cost Cleveland the game against the Ravens, but the Chargers didn't make that same mistakes. It's the easy why I view Winston as an option for the 2024 season, but not a realistic option for 2025 and beyond, unless he drastically shows otherwise over these final eight games.RB: I was surprised that Jerome Ford had more snaps than Nick Chubb, but perhaps the disparity came once the game was somewhat out of reach. It was a mixed bag for Chubb — right now, he looks pedestrian, which is understandable given what he's trying to come back from, but also a bummer when you dream big for him.WR:Cedric Tillman had himself another strong game, with his lone miscue being a dropped pass near the goal line that could have been a touchdown. In his defense, he was taking a shot from a defender right as the ball was coming — but with the butterfly effect, Winston threw an interception on the next play. Tillman made a great touchdown grab in the final minute and was the team's highest-graded player on offense, grading out to a 75.5 by PFF.TE: How many years will I be driven nuts by David Njoku not being used more as an intermediate threat? I maintain my expectations that Njoku should be a 7-catch, 80-yard type of receiver every week.OL: The Browns stuck with Dawand Jones at left tackle, and it appears as though he'll continue in that role. The Browns' offensive line wasn't the best against the Chargers, but for the most part, I thought they gave Jameis Winston a fair shot at making plays and he didn't come through.
