Browns vs. Jaguars: How To Watch, Betting Odds
The Cleveland Browns hit the road this week looking to get their season back on track after a 33-17 beating at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys last week.
They will take on the Jaguars, and the extreme heat and humidity in Jacksonville on Sunday afternoon.
Quarterback Deshaun Watson is likely still shell-shocked from being under siege the entire game in Week 1. A make-shift offensive line with backups at both tackle spots didn't fare well for Watson who was seeing his first competitive action since Week 7 of last season.
The defense didn't fare much better, but they held the Cowboys to just two touchdowns and four field goals. They have vowed to be much better this week in an attempt to right the ship and move forward.
The Jaguars jumped out to a 17-7 halftime lead over the Miami Dolphins last week before giving up 13 unanswered points in a tight loss. Miami kicker Jason Sanders kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired for a 20-17 win.
Quarterback Trevor Lawrence connected on just 12 of 21 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown. He didn't turn the ball over, which is what kept this game close throughout the second half.
With the game tied, however, the Jaguars had the ball at their own 30 with 4:22 remaining in the game. After no gain on first down, Lawrence took back-to-back sacks.
