CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Bryce James, the youngest son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, made his junior season debut playing for Sierra Canyon High School on Wednesday night in Chatsworth, California.

James, a 6-foot-4 guard, scored six points while recording three assists, two steals and one block in 15 minutes to help the Trailblazers defeat Moorpark High School, 86-24.

James played at Sierra Canyon as a sophomore last season alongside his older brother, Bronny, who is now a freshman for the University of Southern California men’s basketball team. However, Bryce left Sierra Canyon in June and transferred to Campbell Hall High School in Studio City, California, before again transferring to Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, in August.

Bryce ultimately returned to Sierra Canyon, though, as he transferred back to the school for his junior season and made his debut for the Trailblazers in Wednesday’s win. He returned to Sierra Canyon after being deemed ineligible for transferring within the athletic conference the school plays in, which would have forced him to sit out half of his junior season at a rivaling school, according to reports.

Bryce, 16, made his unofficial visit to Ohio State University’s basketball program in Columbus, Ohio, on Oct. 7, and received a scholarship offer following his visit. He is currently rated as a three-star prospect and also has a scholarship offer from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, according to 247Sports.com .
