Bucs’ Mike Evans Cracks Top 10 in Latest Rankings
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have started out the season 2-0 for the fourth year in a row, and it is due in no small part to the great play from their wide receiver corps.
In a recent by Pro Football Network , they rank who they believe are the best receivers in the NFL now that the season is partially underway. Juts barely cracking the top 10, they have Tampa Bay legend Mike Evans at No. 9.
"Evans doesn't get enough credit for his consistency. He's surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in all 10 of his NFL seasons, holding the record for most consecutive 1,000-yard seasons to start a career," Jay Morrison writes. "And he has produced regardless of who is under center, whether it's Tom Brady and Baker Mayfield or Mike Glennon and Josh McCown earlier in his career."
Evans is one of the most consistent players ever, and he could break a very impressive league record this season.
