Buffalo Bills Week 12 inactives at the Philadelphia Eagles

C.Brown3 months ago
The Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles are set to kick off in approximately 90 minutes, which means the inactive player lists have become official. Bills head coach Sean McDermott had ruled out two players for this one on Friday, and the team also elevated two players from the practice squad this week. That means that Buffalo will have a total of seven inactive players as opposed to the customary five.

Buffalo elevated wideout Andy Isabella and cornerback Ja’Marcus Ingram from the practice squad for the game. Ingram’s elevation makes sense given that two of Buffalo’s injured players this week are defensive backs. Isabella, however, was a bit of a surprise given the overall health of Buffalo’s receiver room.

Who’s in and who’s out for this one? Here is the full inactive list.

WR Deonte Harty When Buffalo announced that Andy Isabella was coming up, Harty was my first thought as to which player would be deactivated. With Khalil Shakir emerging as the primary slot wideout, Harty has had little role in the offense, so going in a different direction for his few snaps makes sense.

T Alec Anderson The young, versatile lineman is once again a healthy scratch, as Ryan Bates continues to serve as the all-position backup on game days.

G Germain Ifedi The veteran continues to be a healthy scratch as David Edwards and Ryan Van DeMark are the team’s sixth lineman and swing tackle, respectively.

DT Poona Ford The big one-tech has had his role usurped by the even bigger Linval Joseph. Ford is a healthy scratch once again.

LB A.J. Klein Buffalo rolls with a younger, more athletic combination of linebackers, leaving Klein as the odd man out.

CB Dane Jackson This we knew, as Jackson is down with a concussion. Christian Benford and Rasul Douglas are set to start on the outside, with Ja’Marcus Ingram as the primary backup should one of those two fall to injury.

S Taylor Rapp This we also knew, as Rapp was one of the two players declared out on Friday. Cam Lewis is likely the third safety/dime player, while Damar Hamlin is active to play special teams and serve as the last reserve.

Here are the inactive players for the Eagles. Offensive tackle Lane Johnson was added to the injury report this morning after reporting groin soreness. He is inactive for the game.
