Greater Pittston Junior Legion, two-day tryouts, 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Atlas Baseball Field, West Pittston. Players ages 13-15 residing in Pittston, Pittston Township (west of the bypass), West Pittston, Harding, Falls, Exeter Township, Exeter, Wyoming and West Wyoming are eligible. Irem Gun Club Benefit Trap Shoot, 10 a.m. registration at the Irem Gun Club on Country Club Road in Dallas. Proceeds will benefit 2-year-old Kira Pomirmke, whose mother, Kelly, passed away last November. Registration is $20 per person for the 50 round shoot. Prizes and gift certificates will be awarded. Relay for Life Golf Tournament, May 19 at Stonehedge Golf Course. The format is captain and crew with a 2 p.m. shotgun start. The cost is $75 per person and includes green fees, lunch, dinner and prizes. Tournament is sponsored by the Tunkhannock Area Education Association and all proceeds benefit Relay for Life.
