Kingston Recreation Center Kamp and Klub Kingston, now accepting sign-ups for children ages 5 to 12. It runs Monday to Friday for eight weeks beginning June 18.

North American Youth Sports Annual Summer Youth Basketball Tournament, June 15 to 17 at the University of Scranton. The entry fee is $250 and guarantees each team a minimum of five games. There will be awards presented in each age bracket. The entry deadline is May 25. Northwest All-Stars vs. WBRE-TV and WYOU-TV Charity Basketball Game, 7:30 p.m., April 14 at the Northwest High School gym. All of the money raised will benefit the FLT building project in Shickshinny. The Historical and Preservation Society of the Greater Shickshinny Area and the Business Association of the Greater Shickshinny Area co-own the building and are in the process of raising money for renovations. It will be a community center and museum to display the historical artifacts of the area. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Refreshments will be available along with a 50/50 raffle.

Visiting Nurse Association of St. Luke’s Golf Tournament, May 14 at Silver Creek Country Club, Lower Saucon Township. The event is a scramble format with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Funds will benefit the Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke’s new inpatient Hospice House as well as the hospice program in Northampton, Lehigh and Carbon counties.
