Buy a $6 Campfire Cappuccino at Alabaster, earn a $61 donation for Camp Susque
Williamsport, Pa. — Alabaster Coffee Roaster and Tea Co.'s Campfire Cappuccino is back for November! Since 2019, this sweet and smoky caffeinated treat has delighted area residents and raised funds for Camp Susque.
The Campfire Cappuccino is nothing short of a local tradition. It's made with Alabaster's Sabra espresso as a base with steamed milk added, and sweetened with smoked maple syrup right from Camp Susque's own maple trees! To top it off, a homemade, toasted marshmallow from the Camp Susque kitchen crowns the beverage for that special camp experience.
This sweet, smoky, bitter, and creamy beverage is part of Alabaster's Community Cup program, which supports nonprofits.
Two dollars from each $6 cup is donated directly to Camp Susque, and over 30 local businesses and churches have pitched in to match Alabaster's donation. Because of this commitment, for every single Campfire Cappuccino sold, Camp Susque will receive a donation of $61!
"There's no easier way to donate to support an nonprofit. You get a delicious drink, and more than ten times your purchase price goes to support Camp Susque" explained Susque's director, Peter Swift. "We are incredibly grateful to Alabaster and all of the matching sponsors."
Alabaster owner, Karl Fisher, added: "Every year this is one of our most popular drinks, and while it can get repetitive making so many over such a short time, we never get tired of supporting our community."
During the last two weeks of November, individuals who purchase a Campfire Cappuccino will receive a free Susque Campfire Mug while supplies last. Camp Susque also has a variety of giveaways centered around the hashtag #campfirecapp on Instagram and Facebook.
