Calls Mount for Mike McCarthy’s Firing as Cowboys Fans Riot Against Dallas HC’s Questionable Play Calling

That's it for Mike McCarthy. He might be ending up on the chopping block after the Dallas Cowboys missed the opportunity to put some point on the board by the end of the third quarter. The literally stopped them on 3 down and inches just because the Cowboys head coach decided to go for it and not kick the easy field goal.

The Cowboys fans are fuming right now. They even believe that the Cowboys' head coach is purposefully doing this to get fired. Or as this fan calls it, "Mike McCarthy wants to get fired. The roof caving in is enough." But it wasn't an unwarranted comment. The Cowboys had a chance to add three points on the board by the end of the third quarter, but Cooper Rush threw a dud instead.

But it's not just one play. There were other instances of abhorrent playcalling throughout the game. Case in point, the fake punt that McCarthy called. The Punter Bryan Anger faked a punt. But then, he threw a weird pass, and a defender immediately tackled Juanyeh Thomas from behind. This was the second fake punt that hasn't worked out for the Cowboys in the last three weeks.

The fake punt happened in the first quarter. The Cowboys caught the pass but fell short of scoring a first down. Don't even start on the play where the Cowboys fumbled the ball twice. Texans' Derek Barnett returned it for a 28-yard touchdown. It just looks bad, and the Cowboys look unprepared.

Horrendous playcalling caused Zack Martin and Tyler Smith to get injured on consecutive plays. At this point, it feels like the Texans completely broke the Cowboys and were just toying with them. Of course, the passionate Dallas fans are going insane watching this eyesore performance unfold.

Another upset fan called for Mike McCarthy to get fired as they wrote, "Mike McCarthy must go." The horrendous play calling has the former Super Bowl-winning head coach garnering more hate as one pointed out, "MIKE MCCARTHY YOU F—ING SUCK." As said before, there's another narrative going around that McCarthy wants to get fired, or as one fan put it, "Mike McCarthy wants to get fired. The roof caving in is enough."
