Cameron Diaz's Glam Squad Just Shared a Rare BTS Photo of the Star: 'Back in Action'

Cameron Diaz 's glam is glamming.

Although the actress, 52, is known to remain out of the spotlight, her makeup artist and hairstylist reminded us why she's a total beauty queen with a rare behind-the-scenes photo shared on Nov. 5.

In the Instagram snapshot posted by pros Melanie Inglessis and Lona Vigi , Diaz can be seen rocking contoured cheeks and a hot pink lip. She wears a denim top, gold earrings and her hair is styled in beachy waves parted to one side.

The look is quite vibrant for the star, who usually goes the minimalist route with her makeup.

Case in point: when she hosted a chic garden party for her wine brand, Avaline, in East Hampton, New York back in July, she kept it natural and dewy with a nude lip to go with her summery white dress and relaxed blowout.

Inglessis and Vigi both included #backinaction in their captions, seemingly hinting at work they're doing for Diaz's new Netflix film with the same name, the details of which have been mostly kept under wraps. And if this glam moment is any indication of what's to come, we really can't wait for the press tour.

Filming for the action comedy, which is slated to come out on Jan. 17, 2025, kicked off at the end of 2022 in London before eventually moving to Atlanta.

The movie marks Diaz's return to film since she stepped away from acting in 2014 to focus on family and her beverage company. In July 2022, a source teased to PEOPLE that Back in Action is "the perfect movie project for" Diaz to make her return .

Directed by Seth Gordon and co-written by Brendan O'Brien, the Netflix release also stars Jamie Foxx , Kyle Chandler and Glenn Close.
