Three tax questions on the November ballot address the construction and maintenance of a community pool. All must pass for the pool to be built and operated.

  • Question 2A: Sales and Use Tax Increase for a Community Pool – A 0.30% sales tax increase to pay for capital construction and capital reserves for the swimming facility.

  • Question 6A: Operating Mill Levy – A debt financing question from the Recreation District. This question is a tax increase.

  • Question 6B: Pool Debt Financing – A four-mill increase in the Recreation District's mill levy.

  • Question 2A is a City ballot issue, and only those who live within the Cañon City limits can vote on it. Questions 6A and 6B are Recreation District ballot issues and only those who live within the boundaries of the Recreation District or own property there are eligible to vote.
