Car crashes into Booker T. Washington HS in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A car slammed into Booker T. Washington High School early Saturday morning, according to police.
Around 4:30 a.m., police responded to 1111 Park Ave. for the report of a car hitting a building.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found the driver, a 21-year-old woman, suffering from non life-threatening injuries. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Viewer video shows a large gaping hole in the side of the building.
Police say charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
