CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia Announces New Executive Board Members

September 30, 2024 (Rockledge, FL) — CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia (CSBFV), the newly consolidated workforce board serving Brevard, Volusia and Flagler counties, today announced the appointment of its executive committee members. These five board members will each help support the workforce board's mission to connect employers with qualified, skilled talent and jobseekers with employment and career development opportunities.

CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia is currently comprised of 26 board members, including private sector leadership and representatives from area agencies, academia, and economic development. "I'm excited to collaborate with these business leaders as we move forward following the merge of the two workforce boards in July," said CSBFV Executive Director Marci Murphy. "We're eager to expand initiatives and build partnerships that support the business community and cater to the unique needs of a diverse population of jobseekers."

Appointees will serve a staggered two-year term through 2026. "Each member brings unique experiences and valuable perspectives that help strengthen the capabilities and outcomes of our workforce solutions," said Lloyd Gregg, Board Chair. "By offering a wider scope of employment services, bringing together economic, education, business and government agencies to solve business demands, and focusing on initiatives that target growing industry sectors, we are better able to serve the businesses and jobseekers across the tri-county region."
