CASA in Action works to mobilize voters in Lancaster County

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — Communities across Pennsylvania are mobilizing voters, including here in the Midstate.

The organization CASA in Action held a rally Saturday in Lancaster, helping get the word out to vote.

They specifically reached out to Puerto Rican voters who joined them to go door-to-door.

"We are super excited about this," Gustavo Torres, president of CASA in Action, said. "We are going to be all day knocking on doors, because we believe that is a very, very important to send a message to our community. It's time to go and vote. Pennsylvania is going to make a decision on who is going to be the president."

CASA says its electoral mobilization program has knocked on 33,000 doors.
