A man accused of robbing a Dollar General store is behind bars.

Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies say 23-year-old Terrance Battle grabbed money from a register and took off.

It happened at the Dollar General off Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers, right next to Slater Road on Saturday around 3 p.m.

The robbery started after Battle tried to buy soda with cash, then snatched up money from the register, and the whole robbery and aerial pursuit was caught on camera.

LCSO's report says Battle went to purchase soda with cash, but once the Dollar General employee opened up the register, Battle started grabbing the cash and threatened the worker, saying, "I don't want to shoot you."

Then, Battle fled by car, leading deputies on a chase with LCSO's Aviation Unit also tracking from above before he fled into an acquaintance's home.

In the video, you can see Battle in a neon shirt hiding from deputies before he was caught.

The video shows him being led away in handcuffs.
