Celebrations as Leitrim company awarded top accolade for ninth consecutive year

Ireland's Best Managed Companies programme, run by Deloitte, promotes and recognises excellence in Irish/Northern Irish owned and managed companies.

Amongst the winning companies this year was Leitrim company King & Moffatt Building Services, having requalified for Ireland's Best Managed Companies accolade.

A spokesperson for the Carrick on Shannon based company, said, "King & Moffatt is proud to announce that we have been named Platinum winners of the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Award 2024.

"This marks the ninth consecutive year we have achieved this prestigious award.

"Our team was thrilled to receive the award during the ceremony held on Thursday night at the RDS in Dublin."

King & Moffatt Building Services are award winning Mechanical & Electrical Contractors who have been in business for over 45 years, operating throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom and Mainland Europe, with an annual turnover in the region of €150 million.

Through their valued directly employed workforce, the company provides clients with a complete electrical and mechanical service, from design stage to the installation and the ongoing maintenance of their facilities.

The Energy Services Division offers energy expertise to aid clients in reducing their energy consumption, carbon footprint and overall operating costs.

A thorough judging process precedes the recognition each year, evaluating the entire management team and the business strategy of each company.

The judges examine a wide range of areas when assessing Ireland's top privately-owned businesses, such as a business' environmental, social and governance standards, strategic planning and talent strategy.

The network of companies has a combined turnover of more than €15 billion and provide employment to over 45,000 people across a range of sectors from technology and healthcare to construction.
