Cement mixer, vehicle collide on Highway 101 in SLO County

The California Highway Patrol responded to a highway crash between a cement mixer truck and an unknown vehicle on Monday morning in Paso Robles.

At 10:23 a.m. the CHP received reports of the crash on southbound Highway 101 near the 13th Street Bridge, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.

According to the page, the driver of the unknown vehicle asked the driver of the cement mixer to not call the police.

Just days after announcing a civil fine against Ford for moving too slowly on a recall, the U.S. government unveiled two investigations into recalls that may not have worked or covered enough vehicles. In April Ford recalled certain 2021 through 2024 Bronco Sports and 2022 through 2023 Mavericks were recalled because they can suddenly lose power.
