Chair Thrown Through Car Windshield In Fight: Lacey Police Blotter A bar fight led to a chair being thrown through a car windshield, cones were stolen for a TikTok video and more this past month in Lacey.LACEY, NJ — A bike was stolen from the high school, women fought with a liquor store employee and a chair shattered the windshield of a car during a bar fight in Lacey this October, according to police.

Incident: Disorderly Conduct, Obstruction, Resisting Arrest On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 1458 hours, Officers Hutman and Morrone were at Lacey Township Municipal Court when they attempted to de-escalate an irate and belligerent female, identified as Alissa Goffio, 24, of Forked River. At the request of Lacey Township Municipal Court Judge Mabie, the officers spoke to Alissa in the hallway where Alissa continued her disorderly behavior by cursing and acting belligerent. Officer Hutman attempted to secure her in handcuffs but Alissa pulled away from the Officer's control, flailed and tensed her arms. Alissa was issued Special Complaint summonses for Disorderly Conduct, Obstruction, and Resisting Arrest.
Location: Lacey Twp. High School, 73 Haines St, Lanoka Harbor On Friday, October 4, 2024, at 1355 hours, Det. Flynn was notified that a bicycle was stolen from the Lacey Township High School. Officer Tranz subsequently responded to investigate and met with Principal King who indicated someone stole an unsecured SE Blocks Flyer pink camouflage bicycle with pink tires, valued at $674.00. Surveillance footage was gathered and the suspect was described as an adult white female with brown hair and wearing a black shirt with a skull on it. The suspect was observed on camera taking the bicycle from the east side of the high school and leaving towards the Haines St/Maxim Drive area.
Nature: MVA/Warrant On Saturday, October 5, 2024, at approximately 1824 hours, Officer Biel responded to Parker Avenue near Mill Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, contact was made with Michael Kovacs, age 38, of Forked River, who reported that he lost control of his motorcycle and sustained several abrasions. During the course of the investigation, Michael was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Seaside Heights (#146444; $750.00). Michael was placed under arrest and was later released on his own recognizance after being issued several motor vehicle summonses.
Case: 24LT50144 Nature: Thef On Monday, October 7, 2024, at 0853 hours Officers Carver, Tirella, and D' Antonio responded to 73 Haines Street, Lacey High School, for a report from school security that a female who was a suspect in a bicycle theft on October 4th, was on school property. Officers made contact with Aaliyah Velez (19) walking on Haines Street near Maxim Drive. She later admitted to taking the bicycle, and riding it from the high school to the Mill Pond School. Aaliyah was arrested for theft of the bicycle and transported to police headquarters for processing. She was processed and released on a summons.
Nature: Theft On Monday, October 7, 2024 Officers, Triano and Walsh responded to Walmart for a report of a female shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, they met with Loss Prevention associates and the suspect, Carrie Dilcher, age 51, of Forked River. Loss Prevention indicated Carrie stole approximately $190.00 worth of merchandise. Carrie was placed under arrest, charged and released on summons.
Nature: DWI On Monday, October 7, 2024, at approximately 1727 hours, Officer Triano responded to Walmart after receiving a report a male was driving intoxicated with Walmart as a destination. A plate was given and the male subject, Jonathon Munson, age 46, of Ocean Gate, was located. Jonathon appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted. Jonathon was ultimately arrested for DWI and was transported to headquarters. Jonathon was issued summonses for DWI, Reckless Driving and Open Container. Priced Rite towing and impounded Jonathan's vehicle pursuant to John's Law..
Incident: Shoplifting On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 1650 hours, several officers, including Officer Labbate, responded to Walmart for two shoplifters in custody. The officers made contact with Asset Protection associates and the offenders, identified as Stephanie Ellis, age 35, of Beachwood, and Jade Brown, age 30, of Brick, who concealed $673.70 worth of items and attempted to walk out of the store without buying them. Both subjects were arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and eventually released on summonses.
Nature: Warrant Arrest On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 21:30 hours, Officers Gant and Labbate responded to the Lacey Mall for a report of a male causing a disturbance and banging his head on windows. Upon arrival Officers located the subject who was identified as 53 year old, Charles Glunk Jr, of Pine Brook, NJ. The investigation revealed that Charles had an active warrant (PB-11530) for his arrest, which was issued out of Pine Beach with no bail. Charles was placed under arrest and transported to Ocean County Jail.
Nature: Theft On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 01:08 hours, Officer Primavera and Labbate responded to the area of Beach Boulevard and Sandy Hook Drive for a report of several cones laid across the street and a suspicious male running into the woods. Upon arrival, Officers located the (7) cones which were determined to be owned by South State Construction. During the investigation Officers located (2) males identified as 19 year old, Phillip Keith and 18 year old, Jaden Edwards. Both males admitted to stealing the cones from the Manchester/Western construction site so they can use them in a TikTok video. Officer Primavera completed special complaints charging them with theft in violation of 2C:20-3.
Incident: Theft On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Officer Lepeshko continued a theft investigation from October 2, 2024, where a landscape edger was stolen from a contractor while he was working behind the TJ Maxx. Officer Lepeshko identified the suspect as Armin Godier, age 64, of Forked River, who admitted to the theft. Armin responded to police headquarters where he was processed and charged with theft 2C:20-3a on a summons and released.
Incident: Shoplifting On Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 1533 hours, Officers Holt and Plis responded to Walmart for a report of an adult female and juvenile female in custody for shoplifting. The officers made contact with Asset Protection who indicated Laura Vanmil, age 40, of Toms River shoplifted $344.85 worth of goods. Laura was arrested, transported to police headquarters and subsequently charged with Shoplifting 2C:20-11B(2) and Employing a Minor to Commit a Crime 2C:24-9A on a complaint summons and released.
Incident: Stolen Motor Vehicle On Friday, October 11, 2024, at 0722 hours, Officer Holt responded to a residence on Brentwood Rd for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. Upon arrival, Officer Holt met with the homeowner who stated when she woke up at 0715 hours, she observed her 2012 Chevrolet Silverado valued at approximately $5,000.00, missing from the residence. Officer Holt was able to review surveillance cameras in the area and observed a dark tow truck arrive at the residence at approximately 0200 hours on October 11th, and tow the vehicle away. Detective Flynn advised Officer Holt there was an incident of a dark tow truck that was stolen out of Manchester Township, and also an incident where a tow truck was used to steal a vehicle. Officer Holt entered the vehicle stolen in NCIC.
Nature: Brush Fire On Friday, October 11, 2024, at 19:07 hours, several Officers including Officer Labbate responded to Erie Way for a report of a brush fire. Upon arrival, Officers located a brush fire next to the residence. The fire was approximately 60 square feet. The Forked River Fire Department arrived on scene and quickly extinguished the fire. The Fire Department determined that the fire was not suspicious and was spontaneous. No property damage occurred.
Case: 24LT50909 Nature: Fight – Criminal Mischief On Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 02:00 hours, several Officers including Officer Primavera responded to the Pine Tar for a report of approximately 10 people fighting. Officers arrived on scene and met with a large group outside; however, all involved parties were separated. It was reported that two groups of people began fighting inside the bar and were directed outside by staff. The fight continued which resulted in 34 year old, Robert Ulaky Jr, of Forked River, throwing a chair at a 2017 Subaru Impreza causing the windshield to shatter. Robert fled the area and was located at Lakeside Drive South and Taylor Lane. Robert admitted to damaging the windshield and indicated that he was being assaulted by several individuals at the bar. Additionally, Robert stated that he was just assaulted while on the Rail Trail by three males wearing flannel. Officers located 25 year old, Timothy Downs at Taylor Lane and Ocean Street who matched the description but denied assaulting Robert on the Rail Trail. Timothy indicated that the other (2) individuals walked towards the lakes. Based on the investigation Robert was placed under arrest. He was transported to headquarters where he was processed, charged with Criminal Mischief on a summons and released.
Timothy was found to have an active Lacey Township ATS warrant (A-111837) with bail set at $750. Timothy was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters. Timothy posted bail and was charged on a special complaint with Simple Assault
Nature: Possession of CDS On Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 1439 hours Officers Carver and Tirella responded to Wawa, 800 Lacey Road, for a report of a subject slumped over the wheel of the vehicle. Upon arrival, officers made contact with 36 year-old Janis Rabel, of Toms River, who was seated behind the wheel of a white 2003 Toyota Highlander in the front spaces of Wawa. Janis displayed some signs of impairment and had a fentanyl patch visibly attached to her left arm. Further investigation at the scene revealed she had no explanation for the fentanyl patch on her arm and s was subsequently arrested for Possession of CDS. In addition, Janis was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Berkeley Township. Janis was transported to police headquarters when she was processed and released on a summons after being released on her own recognizance on the Berkeley Township warrant.
Nature: Harassment/Disorderly Conduct
On Sunday October, 13, at 1820 hours, Officer Spina responded to headquarters to meet with a subject in reference to ongoing harassment from her neighbor, Jack Borriello, age 47, of Forked River. Jack reportedly placed cameras in the trees to look into the complainant's backyard including a newly installed camera approximately 30 feet up a tree pointing directing into the complainant's backyard. In addition, it was reported that Jack moved his mailbox to their adjoining property line and placed her house numbers on the mailbox, seemingly to receive her mail. Officer Spina responded to the residence to observe the camera, and capture a photograph. Officer Spina responded to Jack's residence to get his report of the situation when he began screaming at Officer Spina, trying to prevent his girlfriend from speaking to Officer Spina and prompting other officers to respond. As a result of the interaction, Officer Spina issued Jack two special complaints for violations of 2C:33-2 Disorderly Conduct and 2C:33-4 Harassment.
Nature: DWI/Possession of CDS On Monday, October 14, 2024 at 0629 hours Officer Slota responded to Deerhead Lake Drive and Lakeside Drive North for a report of a subject unconscious behind the wheel of a running vehicle in the middle of the roadway. Upon arrival, Officer Slota made contact with the driver 42 year-old Samuel Gerve of Toms River, who identified himself falsely as "Guerschom Nazare." Samuel was found to be sleeping with the vehicle in gear and his foot on the brake. Samuel was displaying symptoms of intoxication and investigation at the scene led to his arrest for DWI. During the subsequent vehicle search officers located quantity of cocaine, heroin and prescription legend drugs. Samuel was transported to police headquarters where he continued to provide false information. A criminal inquiry properly identified him as Samuel Gerve. Samuel was charged on a warrant with Possession of CDS, Possession of Prescription Legend Drug without a prescription, and Providing False Information to Law Enforcement. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for DWI, Reckless Driving, Driving While Suspended, and Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle. Samuel was transported to the Ocean County Jail.
Nature: MVA/DWI On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 1720 hours, Officer Nilon responded to Clubhouse Drive and Beach Boulevard for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. It was further reported that an unknown vehicle struck a mailbox in the area and fled the scene. Officer Nilon responded, located the vehicle in question and identified Sandra Wisniewski, age 56, of Forked River as the driver. Officer Nilon observed obvious signs of impairment and detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Sandra was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving, Open Container, Littering from a Motor Vehicle, Failure to Maintain Lane, Leaving the Scene of an accident and Failure to Report an Accident.
Nature: Burglary/Theft On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at approximately 2131 hours, Officer Biel responded to Headquarters to meet with a subject who indicated that on Sunday October 13, while parked at Gille Park with the windows open, an unknown suspect or suspects entered his vehicle and stole his inspections sticker.
Nature: Warrant Arrest On Wednesday October 16, 2024, at 0502 hours, Officers Sarno and Triano responded to Wawa, 701 Route 9 North for a report of a male subject who was passed out in a vehicle. Upon arrival, the officers discovered Randy Rizzolo, age 30, of Forked River, alert and conscious in his vehicle. Randy indicated that he did not require medical attention however, he had an outstanding warrant out of Lacey Township Municipal Court with $750.00 bail. As a result, Officer Triano placed Randy under arrest and transported him to headquarters where he posted bail.
Incident: Shoplifting On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at approximately 1525 hours, Officers Lee and Hutman responded to Walmart for a female shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, Officer Lee met with Asset Protection who indicated that Alyssa Leek, age 39, of Forked River, concealed $58.00 worth of dog treats and attempted to leave to store without paying. Alyssa's identity was confirmed and she was negative for any warrants. Walmrt employees indicated that they would be signing their own shoplifting complaints.
Nature: Warrant Arrest On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 21:00 hours, Officer Swain was patrolling Wawa, 701 North Main Street, when he observed a suspicious vehicle. Officer Swain identified the operator of the vehicle, as 38 year old, Salvatore Celauro, of Little Egg Harbor. Officer Swain discovered that Salvatore had an NICIC warrant, out of Toms River and Salvatore was subsequently placed under arrest, transported to headquarters and transported to Ocean County Jail.
Nature: Warrant Arrest On Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 03:00 hours, while investigating the previous warrant arrest Officer Swain learned that 39 year old, Megan Waiton of Lanoka Harbor, had an active NCIC warrant with $2,500.00 with a 10% option. Officer Swain met with Megan, placed her under arrest and transported her to headquarters where she posted bail. Megan was provided with a new court date and released.
Incident: Check Welfare, Warrant Arrest On Friday, October 18, 2024, at 1258 hours, Officer Lee was performing a walk-through of the Lacey Library when an employee asked Officer Lee to do a welfare check on a female who was screaming and yelling in the Library earlier, identified as Susan Boykewich , age 69, of Berkeley. While speaking with Susan, Officer Lee discovered she had a no bail NCIC Warrant out the Ocean County Sheriff's Department, a $1,000.00 Toms River Warrant, and a $1,500.00 Berkeley Township Warrant. Susan was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Ocean County Jail.
Nature: MV Stop / Warrant Arrest On Friday, October 18, 2024, at 20:47 hours, Officer Gant conducted a motor vehicle stop on a for an improper left turn. Officer Gant met with the driver, 40 year old, Simon Regan, of Forked River and discovered that Simon had an outstanding NCIC warrant out of Ocean County for failure to pay child support. Simon was placed under arrest and transported to Ocean County Jail.
Nature: DWI On Friday, October 18, 2024, at 22:49 hours, Officers Primavera and Morrone responded to Wawa, 444 South Main Street for a report of an erratic driver that struck a Handicap parking sign. The caller stated that a male driver was outside stumbling around. Officers arrived on scene and learned that the vehicle left the scene. Officers responded to the registered owner's residence and met with 43 year old, Kelly Jacobs and her boyfriend, 43 year old, Robert Ellingham, both of Forked River. Kelly and Robert displayed signs of impairment and refused to cooperate with the investigation. Based on surveillance video it was discovered that Robert had driven the vehicle to Wawa with Kelly as front passenger. Upon their arrival at Wawa Robert struck a sign post at which time Kelly entered the store and Robert moved to the passenger seat. Kelly exited the store and drove the vehicle to her residence. Based on the investigation Robert and Kelly were placed under arrest for DWI. Both were transported to headquarters and processed. Robert was charged with DWI, Refusal, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene, Failure to Report and Obstruction. Kelly was charged with DWI, Refusal, Reckless Driving, Obstruction and Resisting.
Nature: Disturbance On Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 1721 hours, dispatch received a call from a passerby stating two woman were fighting with the employees of Jr's Liquors. A short time later, a silent hold up alarm was activated for JR's. Multiple officers arrived on scene and canvassed the area. Officer Biel spoke with the employee, who stated that two women were in the store causing a disturbance, and when he asked them to leave, they began breaking merchandise and assaulted him. The victim stated that the two women left in a gold colored minivan which was ultimately located in the parking lot of 7-Eleven on Lacey Road. The occupants were identified as Queenarab Suggs, age 30, of Trenton and Baquasia Hornsby, age 27, of Trenton. Officer Biel charged Queenarab, with Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief. After an extensive investigation, it was determined that Baquasia provided false information on scene and she was charged with Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief, Implicating another, and Hindering Apprehension.
Nature: DWI-Possession of CDS- Use/Under the Influence On Tuesday October 22, at 1849 hours, Officers Spina and Fusciello responded to Wawa, 800 Lacey Road for a report of an unknown male hunched over the steering wheel. Upon arrival, the officers discovered Randy Rizzolo, age 30, of Forked River behind the wheel of his vehicle in the rear parking lot of Wawa. Randy displayed obvious signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DWI. Officer Spina conducted a search for intoxicants, which revealed approximately ten wax folds containing heroin.. Midnite towing responded and impounded the vehicle pursuant to John's Law.. Officer Fusciello issued Randy summonses for DWI, and Reckless Driving. In addition, Randy was charged with Possession of CDS and Use/Under the influence on a complaint warrant. Officer Fusciello transported Randy to Ocean County Jail without incident.
Nature: Fire On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 0619 hours, Officer Matthew D'Antonio and several other officers responded to a residence on Thrush Court for a report of the residence on fire. Upon arrival, Officer D'Antonio met with the homeowner who had extinguished the fire with a garden hose. The fire burned an area approximately three feet wide from the ground to the gutter at the rear of the residence. Lanoka Harbor Fire Department arrived and confirmed the fire had not spread to any other areas of the home. The Ocean County Fire Marshall and Detective Michael Baldasari responded to investigate the fire.
Nature: Warrant Arrest On Wednesday October 23, at 2003 hours, Officer Copes responded to Route 539 for a report of a male walking along the roadway. Upon arrival, Officer Copes made contact with Justin Pomasan, age 33, of Barnegat who had an NCIC warrant from the US Marshal's Service. Officer Copes placed Justin under arrest and transported him to the Ocean County Jail.
Nature: Theft On Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 19:28 hours, Officer Primavera responded to a residence on Winthrop Drive, for a report of a theft. Upon arrival, Officer Primavera met with the complainant who reported that an unknown person(s) stole her President Trump flag while she was at work. Officer Primavera canvassed the area and discovered that a black sedan was seen in the driveway during the afternoon from a neighbor's surveillance camera. Pamela valued the flag at $25.
Nature: Fire On Tuesday October 29, 2024, at approximately 2056 hours, several officers responded to the Cornerstone Apartments, for a report of a fire in the wooded area behind building ten. Forked River Fire Department personnel quickly extinguished the fire, which was approximately 250 feet northeast of building 10. Due to the extremely dry conditions, NJ State Forest Fire members also responded with large equipment to clear the area to prevent a rekindling of the fire. Lieutenant Flynn and Detective Sergeant Ewart were advised and Detective Flynn responded to the scene along with the Ocean County Fire Marshal. The fire burned an area of approximately one acre.
Nature: CDS Possession, Use/Under the Influence On Wednesday October 30, 2024, at approximately 1933 hours, Officers Sarno, Copes and Zacco, responded to Taco Bell for a report of a male subject who locked himself in the bathroom and was refusing to exit. Upon arrival, the officers met with store employees who indicated that an unknown male subject entered the bathroom approximately two (2) hours earlier. Officers were eventually able to coax the subject, who was later identified as David Kempa, age 46, of Lanoka Harbor, out of the bathroom although he would not identify himself or answer the officers. It was apparent that David was under the influence of CDS and an ambulance was summoned to the scene. Officer Zacco rode with the ambulance to CMC, and in an effort to identify him, located seven bundles of heroin in his possession. Officer Zacco prepared a complaint summons, charging David with Possession of CDS, Use/Under the Influence and Possession of Paraphernalia.
