Get ready for an exciting evening of fun, flavor, and community in downtown York with the highly anticipated Sip & Stroll event on Thursday, September 26, from 4 to 8 p.m. This annual event promises an unforgettable experience, offering attendees the chance to explore over 35 local businesses while enjoying tastings, live music, and exclusive deals from participating shops.

For just $23 in advance or $30 on the day of the event, participants will receive a commemorative tasting glass, giving their evening a special touch. Attendees can sample various beverages and snacks as they stroll through downtown, discovering new favorite spots and connecting with local businesses. To ensure a smooth experience, pedal cabs will be available to help visitors easily move between stops.

For parents looking to make the most of the evening, York Parks and Recreation is hosting a Parents' Night Out, providing a fun-filled experience for kids while their parents enjoy the Sip & Stroll. Please note, this is a 21+ event. Tickets are available now at York Chamber's website, so grab yours today for an evening of sips, snacks, and community connection.

The fun doesn't stop with the Sip & Stroll — just a week later, on Thursday, October 3, Vibe 5 returns at York Country Club. KOOL Radio and Max Country will wrap up their summer promotion, "Side By Side With You," starting at 4:30 p.m. Light snacks will be provided, and the event will culminate with the announcement of the promotion's winner.

The York Young Professionals (YP) group has a packed schedule this fall, offering fantastic opportunities for networking, professional development, and community engagement.

First on the calendar is Lattes with Leaders on October 8, from 7 to 8 a.m. at Mack's Golden Grounds. This month's speaker is Tanya Crawford, 4-H Extension Educator and current President of the York Chamber Board. Tanya will share her leadership journey, offering insights on making a positive impact in the community. YP members can enjoy a complimentary beverage, and no RSVP is needed — just stop by, grab your coffee, and join in the conversation.

Following that, YP members are invited to attend the YP Board Meeting on October 10 at 4 p.m. at the Chamber Office. The meeting is open to all YP members and is a great way to contribute ideas and influence the direction of future YP activities.

Football fans won't want to miss the Husker Game Potluck on October 19 at Kilgore Library (time TBD). YP is hosting this fun event, where Husker fans can come together for food and football. Soup and water will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite game day snacks to share. Friends, family, and fellow fans are all welcome!

Looking ahead, the Chamber is already planning for Small Business Saturday on November 30, so stay tuned for more details on how York will be celebrating and supporting its local businesses.
