Chatham Co. officials to hold annual ceremony honoring fallen firefighters

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Savannah-Chatham Metro Firefighter's Memorial Service along with the Savannah Fire Department will be holding its annual ceremony honoring firefighters who have fallen in the line of duty.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m., at the Savannah Fire Department Headquarters located at 121 E. Oglethorpe Ave.
The event is meant to bring firefighters, families, and community members together to remember and celebrate local fallen firefighters.
The ceremony will include remarks from Savannah Fire, City of Savannah, and Chatham County officials as well as a moment of silence.
